Diane E. (Martellaro) Gleason, 65, of Endicott, NY, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Diane was born in Auburn, NY to the late Joseph and Elizabeth "Betty" Martellaro. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her loving aunt and best friend, Helen Hannig Fiermonte. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Michael R.Gleason; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Gleason and Mandy Thompson, Matthew Gleason, Mark and Kaitlin Gleason; two granddaughters, Nora and Luna Gleason; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Patty Martellaro; two sisters and brother-in-law, Chris Martellaro, Cindy and Red Church; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Diane was a lifelong artist who loved nature and animals. She practiced her art in painting, home décor, jewelry making, photography, and graphic design. She found great beauty in flowers and ladybugs. Her painting had been exhibited in the Everson Museum in Syracuse, and she created award-winning, immersive movie-themed lobby decorations while managing the Auburn Cinema. Diane was a devoted caregiver not only to her own children and grandchildren, but to the many children whom she loved at her daycare business in Auburn, Ladybug Daycare. Diane found immense joy in the company of her granddaughters, creating cherished memories through baking and engaging in delightful art projects together. Her passion for preserving family traditions was evident in the way Diane wholeheartedly embraced the art of cooking and baking, skillfully passing down family recipes that will forever be treasured. Diane brought color into our lives. We will miss her dearly. In honoring Diane's wishes, services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in Diane E.
