James "Jimmy" Smith, 60, of Owego, New York, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 7, 2024. Jimmy was predeceased by his father, Floyd Smith. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Dickensheets; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Jim Hitchcock; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Jimmy was a member of the Gospel Chapel of Owego. A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gospel Chapel, 203 North Avenue, Owego, NY with Pastor Rich Barto, officiating.
