He is survived by wife, Marilyn, of 56 years; daughter, Holli (Jeff); son-in-law, Robert (Brenda); seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many love related extended family members. Butch retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 years. He was a very proud Marine and Vietnam Veteran. Butch loved traveling, camping, fishing, hunting, target shooting, and NASCAR. He was a volunteer for years with Florida State Parks, Candor EMS, Candor Fire Department, and Watkins Glen Racetrack Fire Crew. A very special thank you to Zach and Kate. If not for the day to day help, support and sacrifice they provided, we would not have been able to remain together in our home. We will never be able to thank them enough for all they have done for us. It is all in the journey! Wow, what a ride it has been! The family will receive friends Monday, June 3rd from 11:00am – 12:45pm at the Estey, Munroe and Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St, Candor, NY with funeral services immediately following at 1:00pm.
