Frank H. Schlee, 89, of Owego, NY, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Katharina Schlee; his first wife, Agnes Schlee; his son, John Schlee; brother, Edmund Schlee. Frank is survived by his wife, Barbara Frauenhofer; daughter, Joanna Schlee and Michael Gage; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Thomas and Kelly Schlee, Shawn and Katie Schlee, Lisa Schlee; six grandchildren; his extended family, Christine Hawley, Paula and Fred Gage, Daniel and Michele Frauenhofer, Thomas and Marisabel Frauenhofer. Frank will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, patient tutor of all things and a true family man. Frank retired from IBM – Owego in 1992, as a long time Owego resident and active community member. Frank will fondly be thought of for playing the flute and his active role in the music ministry at both St. Patrick's Church and St. Margaret Mary. The family will receive friends Monday, June 24, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. A private family burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Ave., Owego, NY 13827.
