Charles "Chuck" Bryant Anderson, 63, of Newark Valley, NY, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Chuck was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Ralph and Joan Anderson. He graduated from Morris Knolls High School, Rockaway, NJ, after graduation, he later joined the U.S. Army, while serving in Alaska, he welcomed his first daughter, Samantha. Shortly after completing his service with the U.S. Army, he began his 33 year career working for Endicott Precision. In 1993, he met his soul mate, Julia, on a blind date and they were married, December 9, 1995. Chuck is survived by his wife, Julia, three daughters, Samantha Anderson, Brandi (Matthew) Johnson, Rebecca (Ashley) Anderson; four grandchildren and another on his way; three brothers, John (Nadine) Anderson, Ralph Anderson, Jerry Anderson; Julia's family, Mike (Nancy) Carey, Wendy Nazel, Tricia (Roland) Szameit, Angela (Ben) Houdeshell; several nieces, nephews, cousins, his Kyokushin Karate Family, Tang Soo Do Family and many other dear friends. Chuck holds a Blackbelt in Kyokushin Karate. He always had a passion for drums and all things rock-n-roll! He was a member of McKendree Global Methodist Church, where he enjoyed playing the drums. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 12:00 Noon at the McKendree Global Methodist Church, 224 Owego St., Candor, NY with his Pastor, Matt Rowe, officiating. He especially loved playing the drums for Him and he relied on Him for strength.
