Barbara Ann Dember, 63, of Candor, New York passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Evelena "Fern" Thompson; brother, Thomas Thompson; sister, Marjorie Lason. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Christopher Dember; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Jessica Dember, Andrew and Nicole Dember; four grandchildren, Gowen, Cooper, Josie, Cali; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy Thompson, Mae and Jay Mathieu, Joyce Thompson and her husband, Karl Bremer, Libby Thompson; two brothers and sister-in-law, James and Marguerite Thompson, Mike Thompson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Barbara co-owned with her husband, Chris, Dember Distributing. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Private funeral services will be held.
