Linda A. Hanbury, 83, of Owego, NY, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Imon and Alice Very; four brothers, Henry, Wayne, Ronnie and Gilbert Very; sister, Doris Bartholomew; son, Robert Hanbury. Linda is survived by her husband of 66 years, Claude Hanbury; four children, Patti Hanbury and Jerry Norconk, Alice Hanbury and Bill Morich, Cheryl Strauss and Chris Yonkoski, Don and Terri Hanbury; grandson Tony and Doniel Hanbury; great-granddaughter, Makenzie Hanbury; special niece, Lori Tiffany; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Linda was the bookkeeper for the family business, Hanbury Sanitation for 40 years. The family will receive friends Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda A.
