Janice L. (Duke) Shumway, 44, of Owego, NY, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024. Janice is survived by her daughter, Megan Shumway; parents, Theresa and Paul Platt; three sisters and brother-in-law, Julie and Lance Lamb, Jackie Buchta, Jennifer Szatkowski; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jason Duke, Tony and Bridgette Robbins; brother-in-law, Chet Szatkowski; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and her fur babies, Finnley, Boonie. Janice was an administrative assistant at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
