Thomas L. "Murdock" Merrill, 68, of Endicott, NY took his final breath Saturday, October, 5th, 2024. 2024 was a difficult year with many hospitalizations and his health declining. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Lois (Babcock) Merrill; two brothers, Kevin and James Merrill. Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cathy Merrill; his three children, Pamela Merrill, Lawrence (Kelly) Merrill, Stacy Merrill. " The joys of his life", his grandchildren, Gavin Beers, Samuel Valdes-Bennett, Josiah Bennett, Lucas Tarvin, Lilliana Merrill, Makenzie Merrill. Tom didn't need to share DNA to love his additional son, James Bennett; grandchildren, Manny, Vivi, Ngoni and Langa Mandhiza, Dante Rivera, Cameron Smith, Justin Bennett; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his dear friend and sister in Christ, Sam Mandizha. If you knew Tom, you knew he loved God, grandkids, cars, dogs, and, of course, his lottery tickets!!!! The family will receive friends, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
