Our beloved Irene Estelle Dupuis, 92, of Owego, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Maurice A. Dupuis; four brothers, Armand, George, Roger, Robert; three sisters, Rita, Ella, and Doris. Irene is survived by her six children and their spouses, Richard and Betsy Dupuis, Lenora and Mark Hoffa, Thomas and Debi Dupuis, Douglas and Brenda Dupuis, Daniel and Cathi Dupuis, Cynthia and Russell Lowe; 17 grandchildren; 24 precious great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Irene was known for her strong will and unwavering devotion, love, and unconditional support for her family and strong Catholic faith. She cared deeply for others and prayed her Rosaries daily. Irene was also known for her quick wit and great sense of humor. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, puzzles, reading, and outings to the casino. She was our earth angel with a truly beautiful soul. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30am-10:30am prior to the mass at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Burial will take place privately at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Irene's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
