Larry D. Ketchum, 72, formerly of Enfield, New York, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Owensboro, KY. Larry is survived by his son, Jason Ketchum; three granddaughters, Abbagail, Brenna, Calynn; two sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Chonka, Diana and Ron Ketchum-Dehaas; two brothers and sister-in-law, Durwood Ketchum, Gary and Diane Ketchum; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Larry graduated from Tioga Central School, class of 1970 and excelled in football, receiving a NY State Athlete of the Year award in 1968-1969, and full scholarship to Buffalo college. He worked as a machinist for Kennedy Valve, Elmira, NY. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17, 2022 from 10;00 to 10:45 a.m. with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY, with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY. Condolences may be made to Larry's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
