Obituary of Mary Veronica Harrigan

Mary V. Harrigan, 87 of Owego, passed away Wesnesday May 13, 2015. She was born on May 14, 1927 the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Kiley) Harrigan. Predeceased by her sisters, Agnes Carrigg and Catherine Harrington. Surviving are several cousins and dear friends. She was a graduate of OFA class of 1945. Mary was a devoted member of St. Patrick’s Church in Owego. Mary dedicated over 30 years of caring for people in their own homes. Mary enjoyed reading and loved to walk in Owego and greet people and go to daily coffee with friends. She also enjoyed her collection of stuffed animals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Little Meadows, PA. Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey funeral home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY.
