Obituary of Faith E. Kucher

Faith E. Kucher, 82, of Owego passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2015 surrounded by family. Faith was predeceased by her sister, Hope Sher; two brothers, Jack and James Mowbray. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Vladimir Kucher; three children and their spouses, Michael Kucher and Julie Nocolleta, Kathryn and Chris Welsh, Diane and Mark Lezzatti; three grandchildren, Casey, Kyle and Luca; several nieces and nephews. Faith was committed to helping those less fortunate and in need.. She sat on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity for over a decade and was very proud to have earned her Degree as a Master Gardner. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes rose bushes to be added to her garden in her memory or memorial contributions may be made in Faith E.
