Obituary of Martha J. Morrison

Martha J. Morrison, 78, passed away unexpectedly, December 22, 2013, at home. Martha is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Morrison; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Gail Morrison, Jerry and Donna Morrison, John and Kimberly Morrison; seven grandchildren, Peter, Stephanie, Sean, Brian, Elise, Gabrielle, June; uncle and aunts, Ed and Dottie Nett, Jessie Nagle, Lorraine Nagel; several cousins. Martha graduated from Candor High School as Salutatorian of class of 1953. She was class secretary for 60 years. Martha loved writing and published several hundred times. She enjoyed quiliting and spending time with her friends at CFM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Martha Morrison’s memory to the Candor Emergency, P.O.
