Obituary of Lois Juanita Beavan

Lois J. Beavan, 85, of Johnson City, NY passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Mrs. Beavan was predeceased by two sisters, Cora “Jean” and her husband, Joseph Ackerman; Margaret “Midge” Kishpaugh; brother, Lloyd “Jack” Cornett. She is survived by her husband, Harold Beavan; children and their spouses, Randy O’Connor, Craig and Linda O’Connor, Sharon Beavan, Bryan Beavan, Robert and Brenda Beavan; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Jean Cornett, Jane Cornett, Charles and Bonnie Cornett; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois was a member of the Apalachin United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a former member of Stephen Ministries. She drove bus for many years for the Owego Apalachin School District. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Lois J.
