Diane M. Sackett, 73, of Apalachin died at home August 3, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Staten Island, NY in 1942 to the late James and Theresa Bertino Denice. Diane is survived by her children, Dean (Rita) Simmons, and Deirdre (Doug Macumber) Simmons; her sister, Shirley (Thomas) Benson; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations may be made in Diane’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
