Obituary of Mary Ellen Casey Davidson

Mary Ellen “Gungy” Casey Davidson, of Candor, went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 04, 2015, surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer. Mary was born October 6, 1939 in Binghamton, NY, to the late Jerome and Jenny Casey. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her borther, David Casey. Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Garry; their five children, Tom (Faith), Tim (Paula), Maria (Glenn) Cotterill, Pat (Berta), Liz (Chris) Garner; 11 grandchildren, Joshua, Roxanne, Jacob, Casey, Caitlin, Steven, Gabriel, Nathan, Justin, Bonna, Jonathan; four great- grandchildren, Gavin, Chloe, Elli, Sadie; siblings, Gerald (Diane), Tom (Shirley), Billy (Jean Ann), Frank (Dee), Rita (Alex) Satkowski; several nieces,nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at church. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary “Gungy” Davidson’s memory to Friends of Hospice, P.O.
