Obituary of Donald Edward Riesbeck

Donald E. Riesbeck, 58, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 surrounded by his family at home. He lost his life after a valiant fight with prostate cancer and is a strong advocate for early and regular prostate screenings. Don was predeceased by his father, Edward Riesbeck. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wendy Riesbeck; children, Donald Riesbeck, Jr., Jason Riesbeck, Aaron and Yue Riesbeck, Tanya Riesbeck and her fiance, Brian Aguailar; mother, Eileen Riesbeck; siblings, Chris and Maxine Riesbeck, Mark and Ruth Riesbeck, Steve and Judy Riesbeck, Jeni Paquette, Rick and Domi Riesbeck, Nancy Riesbeck; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was an active member of St. Patrick’s Church and employed with Lockheed Martin – Owego. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY . Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Donald E.
