Obituary of Michael W. Davidson

Michael W. Davidson, 55, passed away unexpectedly. Michael was predeceased by his mother, Nancy J. Davidson, sister Jessica J. Davidson. He is survived by his sons, Joshua and Jeremiah Davidson; his father Wayne Davidson, step-mother Shirley Martin, four sisters and brother-in-law, Lynne and William Demetros, Kathleen Davidson, Laura Kratochvil, Jennifer Davidson; two brothers, Christopher and Mark Davidson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 2:00 at St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main Street, Owego. Burial will be in the Gibson Corners Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to Mass. Michael's earthly possessions were few. But he was truly rich in spirit, no matter what his troubles he was always ready with a hug and a smile. Michael was compassionate, kind and generous with friends and strangers alike.
