Joan & family, I have been praying for everyone during this difficult time. Ray was a great worker for Waverly and Barton, let alone the entire county. I'll always remember our light conversations, and he good humor. Going to the Waverly trustees meeting in the coming year is going to be quite a bit different for me. Joan and Family - I am so sad and shocked to hear that Ray has passed away. It really hits home hard especially right after Grama passing just a few weeks ago. I really liked Ray and always liked talking to him. He had alot of wisdom. I could tell he was a great leader in all he did. He was also very good to my Mom and family. He was there for my Mom with Aunt Joan when she was in the hospital and I will never forget that special time we all shared together. I am so very very sorry he is gone. I do know he is with God in heaven with my Mother and Grama. God is real and he will take care of Ray. I have no question we will all see him again one day. God Bless you Ray Case. May you enjoy heaven...

My sincere condolences to Ray's family. I had the privilege to know him through working with the county and he was truly a dedicated public servant. He attended many events throughout the county and supported his community. I always looked for him at events and was rarely dissapointed. Although I only knew him for a short time, he was warm and welcoming, and alway eager to help promote or volunteer, especially within his district. The last event I saw him at was Sundaes at the Farm where his parting words to me were "where's my balloon?" Referring to balloons we were giving out to kids. I didn't know him well enough to know if he was a "kid at heart," but I have a sneaking suspicion he was. His passing is a loss for Tioga County but his dedication and good work will be remembered and carried on. Rest in peace and thank you Ray!
