Obituary of Jane Elizabeth Fuller

Jane Elizabeth (Greene) Fuller, 93, of Owego passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016, with her loving family by her side. “Your mother is always with you. She is the place you came from, your first home. And is the map you follow with every step you take. She is your first love and nothing on Earth can separate you. Not time, not space, not death. “ Jane is now reunited with her husband Edward, who predeceased her in 1978. She was born March 27, 1922 to Walter and Charlotte Greene in Owego, NY. Jane was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and James L. Wright and her nephew, James W. Wright. She is survived by her children, Judy and William Hessberger, Russell and Laurie Fuller, and Michael “Fritz” Fuller; five grandchildren, Eric Hessberger, Heather Hessberger, Ryan (Diana) Hessberger, Robyn (Craig) Carriere and Andrew Fuller; five great-grand children; Elizabeth, Julianna, Zachary, Emily and Scarlett Hessberger; niece, Kathryn Vona and former daughter-in-law, Pamela O’Shaughnessy. The family would like to thank special friend, Donna Scales, for her devotion to mom. Affectionately known as “Lady Jane” to many, she was a tireless volunteer for numerous organizations in Owego and many knew her from her years working at Bern Furniture and of course you saw her at many garage sales. She was a life long member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Owego. The family will receive friends Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 17 Main St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.
