Obituary of Marian E. Ellinwood

Marian Elizabeth Baty Ellinwood, of Candor, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Brookdale Vestal West. Marian was predeceased by her husband, Ken Ellinwood; son, Jack Ellinwood. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Denise Ellinwood, Ric Ellinwood, Dean and Linda Ellinwood; two daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Williams, Sally and Mike Vose; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Kurt, Lori, Tad, Chris, Ashley, Sam, Lisa, Sara Nathan, Scott, Mark; seven great-grandchildren, Auggie, Reese, Macy, Jocelyn, Gabe, Austin, Noah; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Bastan, Laura Baty; several nieces and nephews. Marian graduated from Newark Valley High School and graduated from Morrisville Agriculture and Technology. She met her husband, Ken, at Morrisville, they married in 1947, moved to Candor to raise their family and run the family dairy farm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen Memorial Baptist Church, 8 Church St., Candor, NY. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the services from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Marian E.
