Albert Elkin, 97, of Owego passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. Mr. Elkin was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Miriam Elkin; daughter, Dawn Elkin; son, Bradley Elkin. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Matthew Syrett; son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin “Bart” and Allyn Elkin; six grandchildren, Roman Elkin, Alison (Patrick) Cleary, Andrew Syrett, Maggie Elkin, Riley Elkin, Celeste Elkin; brother and sister-in-law, Sidney and Elaine Elkin; sister, Gertrude Ginsburg; niece, Tobi Elkin; nephews, David Ginsburg, Seth Elkin. Albert was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from IBM – Owego in 1984. Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
