Jean Jansen, 76, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Mrs. Jansen was predeceased by her husband, Kermit Jansen. She is survived by her daughter, Melody Jansen; special grandchildren, Remington and Kathrine Spoor; several cats, dogs, extended family and friends. Jean retired from Datrose Inc. and was an active member of the Gospel Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Jean Jansen’s memory to Animal Care Council, 131 Washington Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760. Condolences may be made to Jean’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
