Obituary of Theodore Anthony Kodra

Theodore Anthony Kodra, 72, of Owego, NY passed away peacefully at Ideal Nursing Home in Endicott, NY on March 5. Ted was born and raised in Manhattan where he graduated the NY School of Printing and went on to work for the City of New York before moving to New Jersey to raise his family. He later moved to Staten Island where he lived, worked and volunteered his services for the next twenty-five years. He was a great man with a big heart who helped change the lives of many struggling with life’s adversities through his inspirational lectures and undying support. He spent his final years in Owego, NY where he continued devoting his time to helping others and to his precious grandsons, Joseph and Ethan. He is survived by his brother, Howard Kodra; his ex-wife of 24 years, Theresa Kodra; his children, Michael Kodra, Tracy Kodra and her fiance, Mark, and Jennifer Ferrara and her husband, Marc; his grandchildren, Cristal Kodra, Joseph & Ethan Ianniello, Alyssa and Anthony Ferrara; as well as his great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street , Owego with Deacon Michael Donovan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 11:45 am prior to the services at the funeral home.
