Obituary of Casey Ryan Carlson

Casey Ryan Carlson, 17, of Owego, unexpectedly left this Earth on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  Casey was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Martin Kushner, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Roger Carlson; uncle, Marty Kushner.  He is survived by his parents, Mary Kushner and Edward Carlson; brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Sarah Kushner; sister, Chrissy Carlson; niece, Abby Kushner; maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Kushner; paternal grandmother, Mary Louise Carlson; three uncles and aunt, Gary and Marna Carlson, Andrew Carlson, Christopher Kushner; two cousins, Benjamin and Alek Carlson; several great aunts, uncles and dear friends.  Casey was a member of Seton Catholic Central High School Class of 2018 and a proud member of the National Honor Society and was looking forward to pursuing a degree as a Doctor of Anesthesiology.  He enjoyed sports, especially soccer, baseball, football and track.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  Memorial contributions may be made in Casey’s memory to Seton Catholic Central High School, 70 Seminary Ave., Binghamton, NY  13905 or a Broome County Catholic School of your choice.  Condolences may be made to Casey’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
