Obituary of Sharon E. Morrow
Sharon E. Morrow, 72, of Candor passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Mary and George Doucett; brother, Al Doucett; sister, Agnes Doucett. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Morrow; two sons and daughters-in-law, William, Jr. and Melissa Morrow of Dryden, NY, Scott and Jasellynne Morrow of Trumbull, CT; six grandchildren, Allison, Steven, Lucas, Nicole, Jett, Sydney, two brothers and three sisters-in-law, James and Stephanie Doucett, Russell and Cheryl Doucett, and Yvonne Doucett; two sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce Belodeau, Phyllis and Roger Townsend; friend and special companion, Kramer; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon retired from the Baker Institute at Cornell University after 25 years of service. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, animals and most importantly her grandchildren. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Caroline Center Church, 760 Buffalo Road, Caroline Center, NY. Burial will be in the Smith Valley Cemetery, Willseyville, NY. The family will receive friends Monday Evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon E. Morrow’s memory to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepherd Road, Waverly, NY 14892.
