Obituary of Paul G. Williams

Paul G. “Whiz” Williams, 63, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in  Greensboro,  NC.  Paul was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Mollie Williams; grandson, Carson.  He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Tankersley Williams, two daughters, Melanie Delice Rookwood, MD, MBA (Grandson, Collin), Morika Danielle Williams, DVM; son, Dennis O’Connor Rookwood and his wife, Stephanie (grandson’s, Aiden and Caleb); brother, Robert Williams; sister, Ann Williams; his four legged children; two cats, Pouncer and Sassy, two dogs, Sadie Ann and Sandy Storm; along with his extended family and friends whom he cherished and considered sisters, brothers and his children.  Paul was a member of OFA class of 1973.  He worked for the New York State Department of Transportation until he re-located to Greensboro, NC 20 years ago.  A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made in Paul G.
