Obituary of Dean R. Quick

Dean R. Quick, 81, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, May 17, 2014, at home. Dean was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Pauline Quick. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Patricia and Randall Reiss, Robert and Georgia Quick; three grandchildren, Terrance, Morgan and Gregory; brother and sister-in-law, Robert S. and Betty Quick: his beloved friends the Keibel, Arseneau and Materski families. Dean was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired after 30 years of service as Postmaster for the Lisle Post Office . Dean was very community minded and was a 36 year member and treasurer of the Whitney Point Rotary Club, 3rd Degree Mason of Masonic Temple, Maine, NY, member of Kalurah Schriner, Endicott, NY, proud lifetime member of the National Rifle Assoc. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Center Lisle Congregational Church, 9670 NY Route 79, Lisle, NY. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Center Lisle Congregational Church.
