Obituary of Nanette Macey

Nanette Macey, 75, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Mrs. Macey was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert T. Macey; brother, Michael McDonald, sister, Jeanette Bennett. Nanette is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca and Doyle Lowrance, Houston, TX, Rachel Macey, Prosper, TX. Nanette made many loyal friends who will miss her dearly. She was an elementary school teacher for 35 years and was proud to teach for the Owego Apalachin School District and the Tioga Center School District. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main St., Owego with the Rev. William Moorby, officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Memorial contributions may be made in Nanette Macey's memory to the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827 or Stray Haven Animal Shelter, 194 Shepherd Road, Waverly, NY 14892.
