Obituary of Mary Alice Wolcott

Mary Alice Wolcott, 91, of Owego, NY  passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018.  Mary Alice was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert Wolcott; two sisters, Jane McMorrow, Eileen O’Leary.  She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Margaret Wolcott, Robert and Janet Wolcott; four grandchildren, Jessica, Brian, Lindsay, Cassandra; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia, Quinn; several nieces and nephews.  Mary Alice worked as a dental hygienist for the Owego Apalachin School District and was a former substitute teacher with the Candor School District.  She was very community minded and volunteered for many local organizations.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Alice Wolcott’s memory to the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY  13827.  Condolences may be made to Mary Alice’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
