Obituary of Richard W. Kipp, Sr.

Richard W. “Big Dick” Kipp, Sr., 74, of Owego passed away peacefully Wednesday, Mach 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Kipp was a devoted and loving father who was devoted to his wife, Linda and their family. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and then worked in various factories. He enjoyed sharing a nice cold beer with family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Archie and Harriett Kipp; sister, Diane; brother-in-law, Earl Hart. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Kipp; their children, James Kipp, Lisa Wagner, Rick, Jr., Randy E. Kipp, Sr. and his girlfriend, Maureen, Brian Kipp; grandchildren, Heather, Liza, Ryan, Alvin, Rick III, Matt, Shanese, little Gary Wagner, Drew, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Aaron, Brian Dornblaser, Pearl; great-grandchildren; and a special sister and brother-in-law, Nile and Marie Preston.
