Harold S. Abrams, 80, of Owego, New York, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024. Harold was born in Waverly, New York to the late Frank and Helen (Barson) Abrams. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Birdie Abrams; two brothers, Lawrence Abrams, Ronald Abrams. Harold is survived by his nephews and nieces, Jason Housel, Randy Liwicki, Cathryn Friedman, Paul Abrams, James Abrams, Ginger Boufouth, Lyn Munden, Elishi Giles, Tami Hess, Chantelle Giles, Easley Giles; several great nieces and great nephews; his caretaker, Ray Thomas and family. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a funeral director and owner/operator of the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home. He was a member of the Owego Rotary Club, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1595, , B.P.O.E Lodge #1039, Friendship Lodge #153, NYSFDA, Friends of Hospice and many other community organizations. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St, Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Harold S. Abrams memory to the Owego Moose Lodge.
