Obituary of Patricia L. Lewis
Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Patty passed away peacefully, Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Mercy House of the Southern Tier. Patty graduated from Johnson City High School and after graduating high school, she went to work for IBM and then moved on to Lockheed Martin in Owego. Patty enjoyed 30+ years as an administrative specialist. Her dedication as an employee and as a friend was unwavering. She was very involved with the American Cancer Society. Her army of "Pink Warriors" were consistently present at cancer walks. Patty's spirit was very strong and will be missed but not forgotten by those she touched. Patty is survived by her brother, Robert "Bob" Utter. She rejoins the rest of her family, her parents, Charles and Joyce (LeCount) Utter; sister, Nancy Henry, and her significant other, Mark S. Zimmerman, who will all be waiting for her at the pearly gates. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Hospice and all of the dedicated staff at the Mercy House of the Southern Tier for their exceptional care and dedication. You girls were awesome!! The family will receive friends Friday, January 3, 2025, from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. prior to funeral services being held at 3:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. Note: Patty has requested that it be a Tye Die Celebration. No need to dress up… wear your tie die with pride or if you don't have one, Patty will have one for you!
